[Popocatépetl]

This image is from a Webcam operated by Mexico's Centro National de Prevencion de Desastres (CENAPRED). The CENAPRED server is pretty flakey. If the image doesn't load, try viewing it on Discovery.com.

Popocatépetl is a 17,887 ft. peak just outside of Mexico City. It is the second highest point in Mexico, behind 18,405 ft Pico de Orizaba. Popo is an active volcano, and you can often see steam venting on this Web cam.
